DampDays is a mindful drinking tracker designed for people who want to drink less. It is framed around moderation, dry days, and noticing patterns. You log a drink, the app helps you see your weekly rhythm, and you build streaks of dry days at your own pace.
No. DampDays is a moderation and self-awareness tool. It is not a recovery program, not a treatment, not a substitute for medical or clinical advice, and is not designed for alcohol use disorder. If you are concerned about your drinking, please speak with a qualified healthcare professional. In the US you can also call SAMHSA's national helpline at 1-800-662-HELP (4357).
The free tier includes a 30-day rolling history of your logged drinks and dry days. Premium unlocks unlimited history, advanced trends, and Apple Health write-back. Premium is offered as $3.99 monthly, $19.99 yearly, or $24.99 lifetime. Premium is not required to use the core tracker.
Only if you choose to enable it. Apple Health write is an opt-in Premium toggle in Settings. By default, DampDays does not read from or write to HealthKit. When the toggle is on, only alcohol-consumption entries you create yourself are written to Apple Health, and you can revoke permission at any time in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > DampDays.
All of your drink logs and dry-day streaks are stored locally on your device. DampDays does not upload them to any server. Your data is included in your standard iCloud or iTunes device backups if you have those enabled.
Open the app, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.
If you chose the monthly or yearly Premium option, you can manage it in iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions, find DampDays, and tap Cancel Subscription. The $24.99 lifetime option is a one-time purchase and has nothing to cancel.
